Rob
has been engineering since 1991, but began his professional
career in 1995 at Burnet Sound Studios in Dallas, Texas.
Since then, Rob has moved from Dallas to Lubbock while
he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree
from Texas Tech University while maintaining his engineering
duties. Then, it was on to Los Angeles where he graduated
from the Musicians Institute earning a Certificate in
Professional Record Engineering and Production. He then
was brought on board with the now legendary One on One
Recording Studios in North Hollywood (later renamed Extasy
Recording Studios) where he moved up through the ranks
and took over Studio A. Rob then went the independent
route becoming a freelance engineer who has worked on
many diverse projects to date which have appeared on Major
Label Releases, Network Television and MTV.
In June of 2004 Rob moved his operations to Austin, Texas
where he has recently started up 2222 Productions. 2222
Productions is currently evolving into a production company
that is expanding through the areas of Record Engineering,
Record Production, A Record Label, Music Publishing and
other fields.
A subsidiary of 2222 Productions, Tawakoni Music Publishing,
is the on-site publishing company.
After many years of professional experience in the industry,
Rob Hinton is currently forming an independent record
label, Mesa Records. |
